Ready for Reading’s partnership with LitWorld is fostering a new generation of remarkable youth leaders. LitClub sessions engage the 215 members through the power of their own stories, boosting their appetite for studying, cultivating a culture of reading and empowering them as authors of a bold new world of opportunities for themselves and their community.

Before joining one of our LitClubs, Clementine was shy, not comfortable responding to questions asked in class, presenting her work or telling a story. After a year in the program, with her newfound self-confidence and self-expression, she doesn’t hesitate to speak up in class and has become a mentor among her peers.
